TL;DR

Director, Payer Contracts (Biotechnology): Establishing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial and government payer contracts to support the commercialization of COMP360 with an accent on contract strategy, pricing guidelines, and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing contracting programs responsive to market dynamics and managing complex stakeholder economics including PBMs and GPOs.

Location: Hybrid in New York City or remote on the East Coast in the United States

Salary: $220,000 - $275,000 USD

What you will do

  • Establish formal policies and procedures for the entire contracting process and create formal Contract Guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit bids, execute contracts, and monitor ongoing payer compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Provide expert input on pricing and non-price terms, including Government Pricing considerations and ASP implications.
  • Develop and refine contracting programs and pricing approaches based on market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Manage vendors responsible for contract, rebate, and claims administration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Legal, Finance, Brand, and Government Affairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Market Access and Payer contracts.
  • Strong background in Biopharmaceutical commercial and government payer contracts and pricing.
  • Robust understanding of pharmacy channel stakeholder economics (Payers, PBMs, GPOs).
  • Working knowledge of Medical benefit products economics, including ASP pricing and physician reimbursement.
  • Must have existing employment rights in the US; sponsorship is not available.
