Senior Software Engineer (CMS & Digital Experience)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (CMS & Digital Experience): Building and evolving content and experience capabilities for an eCommerce platform with an accent on Adobe Experience Manager and headless content architecture. Focus on designing scalable content models, integrating AEM with frontend frameworks, and optimizing digital customer experiences for multi-market delivery.

Location: Hybrid: Must report to Austin, TX or Warren, MI 3-4 days per week (T-W-Th)

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable Content Fragment models, taxonomy, and folder structures for multi-market, multi-locale digital experiences.
• Integrate AEM and Adobe Target with headless frontend applications, commerce platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Define and implement content models, component structures, and publishing workflows to enable scalable authoring and reuse.
• Write clean, modular, secure, and reusable code following engineering best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Improve site performance, scalability, accessibility, and SEO across CMS-driven experiences.
• Implement SSR experimentation, targeting, and personalization capabilities in partnership with product and analytics teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and SSR Adobe Target.
• Experience designing systems for multi-market and multi-locale content delivery.
• Experience integrating CMS platforms with frontend frameworks, backend services, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, STEM OPT) now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus, including storefront and commerce integrations.
• Experience with Hydrogen, Remix, or other SSR frameworks.
• Proficiency with React and modern frontend ecosystems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
