DevOps Engineer (GCP)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes): Building and scaling the infrastructure function from scratch for a global healthtech ecosystem with an accent on IaC maturity, observability, and security. Focus on transforming legacy infrastructure into a mature platform and creating scalable templates for new services.

Location: Hybrid in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw

What you will do

• Establish the first Platform team and build the entire infrastructure function from strategy to execution.
• Mature the IaC architecture using Terraform and Kubernetes for predictable and reliable releases.
• Implement a comprehensive observability system covering metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Enhance security practices, including access management and secrets handling.
• Optimize data infrastructure to ensure efficient pipelines for analytics.
• Create standardized platform templates to accelerate feature delivery for product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps or Infrastructure.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, GCP, and Terraform.
• Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Ability to write production-level code in Bash/Python and contribute to Node.js/TypeScript backends.
• Ownership mindset and active integration of AI tools in the development workflow.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw.

Nice to have

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• FinOps expertise, including infrastructure cost optimization and budgeting.
