What you will do

  • Lead the migration from a legacy stack (LAMP, Couchbase, Apache, PHP, Linux) to containers and Kubernetes.
  • Build and manage Kubernetes clusters, including the setup of the control plane.
  • Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
  • Manage observability tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, alerts, and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), runbooks, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles.
  • Strong expertise in building and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters.
  • Deep Linux system administration skills.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
  • English: Excellent communication skills are critical.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with Couchbase, LAMP stack, or the gaming industry.
  • Deep networking knowledge (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls).
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
  • Background in building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
