What you will do

• Lead technical direction and operational strategy for front-end AI infrastructure networks.
• Design and evolve large-scale Ethernet leaf-spine / Clos fabrics using Arista and Nokia platforms.
• Serve as the senior-most escalation point for the most complex front-end network incidents.
• Define standards for hardware configuration, routing, congestion management, and firmware lifecycle.
• Collaborate with SRE, Compute, and Storage teams to influence end-to-end system design.
• Mentor senior and principal-level network engineers to raise operational rigor.

Requirements

• 12+ years of network engineering experience in hyperscale data centers, cloud, or AI infrastructure.
• Expert-level experience with large-scale Ethernet fabrics (leaf-spine / Clos topologies).
• Hands-on expertise with Arista (EOS) and/or Nokia (7220 IXR, 7250 IXR, 7750 SR) platforms.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Proven experience with long-haul circuits, DCI, and optical transport (dark fiber, ZR/ZR+).
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives across teams and influence strategy.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end network design patterns specifically for massive AI clusters.
• Expertise in designing large-scale DCI or carrier networks.
• Automation and tooling experience using Python, Ansible, and telemetry pipelines.
