Network Automation Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Network Automation Engineer (Fintech): Designing and deploying automated network infrastructure for a global trading network with an accent on low-latency profiles and network-as-code. What you will do

• Design and deploy internal and customer networks with a focus on automation, security, and operability.
• Strategize and implement methods to maintain a low-latency network infrastructure profile.
• Construct valid network configurations based on technical concepts and architectural designs.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network appliances.
• Maintain and advance the Network Automation tooling and automated change management toolchain.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with network equipment in a Trading environment, Service Provider, or large NOC.
• Proficiency with Juniper, Arista, and/or Cisco hardware (CCNP certified or equivalent knowledge).
• Deep understanding of TCP/UDP characteristics, Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF), Multicast Routing (IGMP, PIM), and NAT.
• Expertise in network-as-code using Python, Jinja2, JSON/YAML, and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, Docker).
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Netmiko, Napalm, or Nornir.
• Knowledge of Linux at a system level, virtualization (VMs, containers), and databases (MySQL, Postgres, InfluxDB, etc.).

Nice to have

• Expertise with the Django framework.
• Advanced packet capture and application analysis skills.
• Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, Zones, and Policy Management.
• Familiarity with Batfish, Containerlab, Flask, or Pandas.
