What you will do

  • Assist with the monthly close process by preparing and posting journal entries and loading trial balances for EMEA entities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and specific territory schedules.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations using JD Edwards, BlackLine, and Hyperion to ensure data consistency.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and ensuring compliance with US/Local GAAP and SOX guidelines.
  • Monitor the intercompany billing process and maintain the Fixed Asset register.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in EMEA and US offices to streamline reporting and handle ad-hoc data requests.

Requirements

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (or working towards certification) with a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Knowledge of Local/US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Must be based in Paris, France to support the hybrid work model.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle large datasets with accuracy.
