TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Paris or Barcelona

What you will do

  • Identify, measure, and monitor structural risks (liquidity, interest rate, solvency, and FX).
  • Design, write, and maintain financial risk policies that define the framework for the ALM team.
  • Build, maintain, and improve risk models and dashboards using SQL and Python to value financial instruments.
  • Challenge the Finance and ALM teams to ensure alignment with risk appetite and regulatory constraints.
  • Contribute to major regulatory exercises and help structure the department's processes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Structural or Financial Risk Management.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python (data manipulation, financial libraries) to build models from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of financial instruments (bonds, interest rate swaps) and risk metrics (LCR, NSFR, VaR, sensitivities).
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-experts and challenge stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.

  • FRM certification.
  • French language skills.
