What you will do

• Monitor real-time trading activities across equities, bonds, and derivatives to identify market abuse or rule violations.
• Analyze market anomalies, price fluctuations, and trading volumes to detect operational risks.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of alerts generated by surveillance systems to identify causes of irregularities.
• Collaborate with compliance teams and external regulators to investigate breaches and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and provide recommendations for improving surveillance processes.
• Ensure all surveillance practices are aligned with MiFID II, MAR, and other financial regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a financial institution, exchange, or regulatory authority.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in market surveillance and anomaly detection tools.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (MiFID II, MAR).
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and market behaviors.

Nice to have

• Certifications in financial regulation or market analysis.
• Computer literacy in VBA or basic notions of programming.
• Proficiency in a third language.
