What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale the pre-sales Solutions Architect team in Germany, overseeing hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Own pre-sales ROI and effectiveness, optimizing coverage models and impact on win-rates and customer adoption.
• Operate as a player-coach, balancing hands-on involvement in key deals with the creation of scalable artifacts and mechanisms.
• Establish a value-based selling culture focused on achieving measurable business outcomes for customers.
• Partner with Sales leadership to support forecast accuracy and consumption growth in a usage-driven model.
• Engage with senior executive stakeholders to build trusted, long-term strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and managing pre-sales or technical field teams in high-growth environments.
• Strong technical background in data engineering, analytics platforms, databases, or data science.
• Demonstrated success in consumption-based or SaaS business models, including forecasting and expansion.
• Ability to operate as a player-coach, combining deal-level execution with scalable leadership.
• Fluent English (required) and Fluent German (highly preferred).
• Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany.
