TL;DR

Cloud Migration Engineer (Azure/AWS/GCP): Planning, executing, and optimizing cloud migration projects from on-premises and hybrid environments to cloud platforms with an accent on security compliance (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001). Location: Hybrid (US). U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation.

Salary: $110,000–$125,000

What you will do

  • Assist in planning and executing migration projects to Azure, AWS, GCP, and Microsoft GCC/GCC High environments.
  • Conduct pre-migration assessments, data analysis, and post-migration validation to ensure data integrity.
  • Support the establishment of secure cloud infrastructure aligned with CMMC, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Configure cloud resources including network, storage, and compute with associated security controls.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of migration strategies, configurations, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cloud security engineers and project managers to align migrations with compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation.
  • Current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent military experience.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in IT, cloud migrations, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft GCC/GCC High).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and DFARS.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AvePoint migration tools.
  • Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, or CompTIA Cloud+.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 environments, specifically SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.
