Salary: $85,389 - $116,975

What you will do

• Modernize healthcare transaction processing and backend data platforms.
• Build cloud-native application services, APIs, and distributed workflows within AWS.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Integrate EDI processing pipelines and cloud-based data services.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Apply modern software engineering practices within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with significant backend engineering.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government security clearance eligibility.
• Strong experience with backend languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations.
• Experience with healthcare EDI data formats and transaction processing.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed U.S.-based engineering organization.

Nice to have

• AWS Certifications.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, or medical claims (837, 835).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Experience with containerized development (ECS/EKS).
