Product Expert (Data Analytics)

TL;DR

Product Expert (Data Analytics): Nurturing and supporting analytically technical users to ensure success with the hirify.global platform with an accent on technical troubleshooting, use case development, and feedback synthesis. Focus on solving complex user workflows using SQL and Python, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with Product teams to squash bugs.

Location: Must be based in San Francisco or New York City (Hybrid: minimum 2 days per week in office)

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for users throughout their lifecycle to ensure product success.
• Provide high-quality support via chat, email, and Slack, combining user empathy with technical insights.
• Develop technical resources, including demo projects, documentation, and videos.
• Identify product weaknesses and common pain points to provide actionable feedback to the Product team.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and actively hunt down and squash bugs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a working data scientist, analyst, or analytics engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Jupyter notebooks and BI tools.
• Strong track record of solving problems for customers and senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in SF or NYC.

Nice to have

• Experience in a user-facing technical capacity, such as a Data Consultant or Customer Engineer.
• Familiarity with the modern data stack across ETL, storage, BI, and ML.
