What you will do

• Lead monthly benefits reconciliations across medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and 401(k) plans.
• Manage financial and operational oversight of the company’s self-insured medical plan.
• Analyze claims data, stop-loss coverage, and funding levels to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, and vendor billing.
• Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into benefits performance and utilization trends.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in benefits administration with a focus on financial analysis.
• Proven experience managing or supporting self-insured health plans is required.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex lookups.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems such as Rippling, Dayforce, or ADP.
• Strong understanding of benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• CEBS or other relevant professional certifications.
• Experience with IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) claims analysis.
• Experience with stop-loss insurance and claims analytics.
