Salary: £100,000 - £110,000

What you will do
- Manage and mentor 8-12 engineers, overseeing career development and performance management.
- Lead the people, delivery, and processes for data teams.
- Own end-to-end delivery of programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and quality expectations.
- Champion and refine AI-first engineering practices within the team.
- Collaborate with Product and commercial teams to ensure delivery goals are efficient and aligned.
- Use metrics to identify opportunities for improving delivery velocity, system reliability, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading high-performing engineering teams and managing performance across multiple levels.
- Previous delivery responsibility within a commercially focused data function (warehousing, analytics, integrations).
- Solid technical background with a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using metrics to guide team improvements.
- Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science.
