TL;DR

Project Engineer (Pharmaceuticals): Supporting the design, construction, and optimization of advanced manufacturing facilities with an accent on production systems, automation, and validation in GMP environments. Focus on leading CAPEX projects, executing IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and implementing MES/SCADA solutions.

Location: Belgium. Candidate must have EU citizenship.

What you will do

  • Lead CAPEX investment projects for production facilities and utilities, managing scope, budget, and stakeholders.
  • Execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for equipment, utilities, and computerized systems.
  • Design and implement MES, SCADA, and PLC automation solutions to support Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with GMP and GxP regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate the installation of manufacturing infrastructure and equipment.

Requirements

  • EU citizenship (mandatory requirement for the VIE program).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Industrial).
  • 3–5 years of experience in regulated industries (Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, or Medical Devices).
  • Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
