What you will do

• Build and maintain enterprise software applications and high-load cloud-native services on AWS.
• Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) stacks and CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation and SAM.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to efficiently integrate commercial LLM APIs into the product suite.
• Design and implement architectural decisions to improve code quality, extensibility, and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve internal developer tools and workflows to enhance team efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the entire application stack and participate in incident response.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building cloud-native applications using serverless technology (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Deep understanding of relational databases (Postgres preferred) and data modeling.
• Experience with Docker, ECS, and version control systems (Git).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted tools in the SDLC (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).

Nice to have

• Experience building applications on top of LLMs using commercial APIs.
• Familiarity with Python data science tooling (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas).
• Interest in application and cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring and observability across multi-tenant deployments.
