What you will do

• Lead the development of analysis specifications, study methodologies, and technical programs for RWD research.
• Conduct complex analyses including propensity score matching, lines of therapy, and machine learning applications.
• Validate key variables and develop patient cohorts to ensure quality standards and methodological rigor.
• Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and develop best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or Bioinformatics (5-8 years exp) or PhD (3+ years exp).
• Proficiency in SAS, R, SQL, and Python for independent programming.
• Comprehensive experience with healthcare databases (e.g., Optum, MarketScan, IQVIA, Flatiron) and OMOP CDM.
• Expertise in observational research methods and machine learning (LASSO, RF, XGBoost).
• Ability to track work in software like Jira or ADO.

Nice to have

• Experience in oncology observational studies or molecular epidemiology.
• Proficiency in cloud-based SQL or genomic data sources (e.g., UK biobank).
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other graphics tools.
• Background in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) methodologies.
