What you will do

• Evaluate up to 40 new and renewal commercial trucking accounts per week.
• Analyze risk utilizing loss runs, MVRs, CAB reports, and FMCSA data.
• Prepare comprehensive market submissions, quote proposals, and coverage comparisons.
• Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms and maintain retail agent relationships.
• Monitor bound account performance to identify profitability issues or loss trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing, sales, and planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting or brokerage (trucking, commercial auto, or casualty lines).
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in both wholesale and retail brokerage settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Surplus Lines license.
• Professional designations such as TRS, CIC, CPCU, or AU.
• Knowledge of agency management systems like AMS360 or IMS.
