TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and operate scalable backend services and APIs for AI-enabled applications using Python and FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with AI and Data Engineers to integrate LLM-based workflows into production systems.
  • Develop cloud-native services on AWS using ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and ElastiCache/Redis.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes via GitHub Actions.
  • Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency.
  • Translate user problems and business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Product Managers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience building production backend systems and APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
  • Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, ElastiCache/Redis).
  • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or Terragrunt.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Working knowledge of Java and/or TypeScript to integrate with existing services.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts.
  • Experience with LangSmith or similar tracing and observability platforms.
  • Experience working with Angular for frontend integrations.
