IT Field Engineer

What you will do

• Perform onsite discovery, documentation, and technical assessments of client IT assets.
• Implement and troubleshoot core networking, server, and computer technologies including Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware.
• Manage cloud services such as Office 365, G-Suite, and Azure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and execute maintenance plans.
• Document all onsite labor and technical activities within the company ticket system.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction and service quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT field services.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong understanding of Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• MSP experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Service Management frameworks.
• Experience with HaloPSA or similar RMM tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, A+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.
