What you will do

• Own and deliver a tangible project aligned with company priorities by the end of the program.
• Conduct research, analysis, or development work based on team placement (Engineering, Growth, or Operations).
• Support initiatives including data analysis, software development, and operational planning.
• Build analytics tools and dashboards to monitor system performance and activity.
• Develop deployment proposals and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
• Collaborate with mentors and present final findings to company leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Arlington, VA (Hybrid).
• Strong analytical, technical, or problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interest in maritime operations, national security, or applied technology.
• Ability to work independently and handle open-ended problems.

Nice to have

• Background in maritime sectors (Coast Guard, Navy, shipping).
• Experience in national or homeland security.
• Knowledge of offshore energy, oil, or gas industries.
• Experience in startups, consulting, or operational environments.
