Salary: CAD $3,600 – $4,500 per month

What you will do

• Develop and optimize robot programs using 3D vision software for bin picking and path planning.
• Design fixtures, camera mounts, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) using CAD software.
• Assemble and test mechanical components and robotic systems in the lab to ensure reliability.
• Support R&D in mechatronics and automation to integrate new hardware solutions.
• Collect and analyze experimental data to troubleshoot and improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software and hardware teams to ensure smooth integration.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechatronics and robotics concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be based in or able to work in-person at the Vancouver office.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robotics, sensors, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Portfolio of extra-curricular mechatronics projects.
