What you will do
- Assist customers with purchases and repairs of Mechanical Seals via telephone, email, and in-person.
- Provide product application recommendations and price quotations after thorough research.
- Initiate and enter orders by interpreting customer requirements and technical drawings to compile bills of materials.
- Manage the complete order lifecycle to ensure delivery commitments are met and resolve delays.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Assembly, and Manufacturing departments to align on order specifications.
- Maintain reference files for procedures, product lists, and special pricing.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of customer service experience specifically within a manufacturing setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (read, write, speak, and understand) is required.
- Ability to read detailed technical drawings and utilize measuring instruments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Education: High School Diploma or Mechanical Technologist/Technician College degree.
- Location: Must be based in Canada.
