Salary: $177,000 – $266,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial results and variance analysis.
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team through mentorship and accountability.
• Scale accounting processes and optimize NetSuite to enhance automation and data integrity.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-enabled solutions to improve the efficiency of internal controls and financial reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally to manage accounting for clinical trial expenses and Phase 3 accruals.
• Support SEC reporting, ICFR, and SOX-compliant processes in collaboration with technical teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Somerville, MA (4 days onsite per week)
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company or pre-IPO experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite is required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with SOX implementation or operating in a SOX-compliant environment.
