What you will do

• Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers to guide their data and AI transformation.
• Design and review scalable data, analytics, and AI architectures leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Review data engineering, machine learning, and GenAI workloads for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Lead architecture workshops, solution design sessions, and technical roadmap discussions.
• Mentor customer teams and internal consultants on architecture patterns and best practices.
• Partner with sales teams to support technical discovery, solution positioning, and proof-of-concept activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or related fields.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Databricks in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS, or GCP).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German.
• Current residency in Germany and legal right to work.

Nice to have

• Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Professional or Machine Learning Professional).
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM solutions, MLflow, and MLOps.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh architectures and real-time streaming data platforms.
• Background in consulting or professional services environments.
