Data Solutions Architect (AWS)

TL;DR

Location: Full remote work based in Portugal (requires EU citizenship, Portuguese citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit)

What you will do

• Design and architect scalable data solutions for a variety of international clients.
• Implement big data and streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and Amazon Kinesis.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines utilizing Spark and Airflow.
• Work with proprietary and open-source platforms including Databricks and Snowflake.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools.
• Apply advanced data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience as a Data Solutions Architect.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services and big data streaming.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, or Airflow.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Terraform.
• English: B2 level is mandatory.
• Must be based in Portugal or have the legal right to work in Portugal/EU.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Governance.
• Familiarity with Medallion Architecture.
