Senior .NET Developer (C#)

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid work model. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable .NET applications using architectural standards and best practices.
• Upgrade existing applications to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views.
• Integrate RESTful APIs for reliable data and service communication.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience focused on C# and .NET.
• Strong SQL expertise, including database architecture and complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience developing and working with RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Fluent English and an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Portuguese language skills.
• .NET or software architecture certifications.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
