What you will do

• Design, implement, and scale backend systems that process large volumes of data.
• Develop and maintain event-driven and API-based integrations.
• Contribute to migration efforts toward a domain-based, scalable architecture.
• Optimize software performance for critical, high-throughput workflows.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in a collaborative development model to share knowledge and improve system quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and Big O notation.
• Experience with Python and/or PySpark.
• Proven track record of building or maintaining complex, high-volume systems.
• Familiarity with data processing tools like Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, Parquet, and Avro.
• Experience with Docker, SQL, NoSQL, and REST APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Pandas.
• Experience with Spring framework and microservices.
• Background in large-scale data or analytics environments.
