Salary: $80,000 - $97,000 Annually

What you will do
- Support systems engineering, implementation, and lifecycle sustainment of the Cloud Data Pipeline (CDP).
- Execute technical tasks for data ingestion and sharing capabilities between source/recipient systems.
- Use Confluent platform and Apache Kafka to reduce information silos and consolidate data.
- Perform troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance for the CDP platform.
- Handle system configurations and administrative tasks for long-term CDP sustainment.
- Ensure all activities comply with USCG software implementation and security standards.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- Foundational programming knowledge in Java, .NET, or Python.
- Basic understanding of system engineering, requirements analysis, and systems architecture.
- Ability to complete the USCG PUMP process for RBAC administrative accounts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document technical procedures.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.
- Hands-on exposure to Confluent platform and Apache Kafka ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and federal IT modernization.
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code or pipeline automation.
