What you will do

• Produce, write, and edit daily news segments for streaming and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with managers and the digital team to ensure accurate and fair local news coverage.
• Plan and script engaging content tailored for streaming audiences.
• Participate in short-form and long-form projects to innovate streaming channel offerings.
• Manage breaking news and weather updates with fast turnaround times.
• Contribute creative story ideas aligned with the local news strategy.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in newsgathering and production.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in writing, producing, and using desktop editing systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to make priority decisions under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience line-producing newscasts.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
• Strong news judgment for weather and breaking news content.
