Senior Software Engineer (Python): Developing and maintaining a high-scale data platform for employment and income verification with an accent on RESTful API design and scalable backend architecture. Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA). Individuals are expected to work from the office 3+ days a week. Relocation stipend may be available for hub locations (Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, or Santiago).
Salary: $185,000 - $218,000 USD

What you will do
- Develop and maintain the Truework platform used by top US mortgage lenders.
- Design and architect new features in collaboration with product and design stakeholders.
- Implement and ship rapid MVPs to validate customer needs and product hypotheses.
- Deliver performant, reliable, and secure backend code capable of supporting significant scale.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve production issues for owned services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Javascript (or similar languages/frameworks).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to a hub location (San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago).
