What you will do
- Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn engagement ideas into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Optimize the microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability.
- Drive the containerization and cloud migration strategy forward.
- Participate in architectural discussions and shape technical decisions.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and maintain technical documentation like ADRs and runbooks.
Requirements
- Solid experience with C# and modern .NET (versions after .NET Core).
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Couchbase, including indexing and query optimization.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing using frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Malaga, Spain.
Nice to have
- Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Orleans.
- Familiarity with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event sourcing, and the actor model.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and trunk-based development.
