What you will do

• Design and implement functionality for Ring Billing and Subscription services using test-driven and efficient code.
• Develop highly scalable systems and APIs to support business growth and improve application architecture.
• Lead technical discussions with Engineering, QA, Product, and Marketing stakeholders to analyze feasibility and provide estimates.
• Manage the team's operational excellence, security roadmap, and technical debt.
• Mentor team members through design reviews, code reviews, and defect analysis (RCA).
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing services through on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Professional, non-internship software development experience.
• Experience in system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one modern OOP language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Location: Must be based in Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Deep knowledge of the full SDLC, including continuous deployment and operational excellence.
