What you will do

• Operate camera, sound, and lighting equipment to cover live and taped news events.
• Respond rapidly to breaking news while coordinating with the assignment desk and production team.
• Gather and edit compelling video and natural sound using Adobe Suite to meet tight deadlines.
• Operate live transmission equipment, including bonded cellular devices like Live U and Dejero.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment and vehicles.
• Participate in editorial meetings to contribute creative ideas and improve overall coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a video journalist or editor in a fast-paced news environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Part 107 FAA Drone License.
• Willingness to join IBEW Local 98.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Proficiency in non-linear editing and operation of Live U/Dejero systems.
