Quality Technician (Engineering)

Location: Onsite in Alameda, CA

Salary: $30–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Execute analytical testing for routine production and R&D work.
• Coordinate daily testing priorities with requesters and management.
• Communicate roadblocks and technical issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve laboratory operating standards, procedures, and systems.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot testing equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry preferred.
• 2-4+ years of laboratory experience in a research or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform routine analytical tasks with consistency and high attention to detail.
• Experience following written procedures and documenting results in electronic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot lab instruments.
• Must be able to work onsite in Alameda, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or ISO/IEC 17025 or similar quality management systems.
