Local Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Local Security Officer (Cybersecurity): Implementing and maintaining local security activities for the Group's physical and digital infrastructure with an accent on classified material handling, access control, and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing BCP/DR plans, managing ISO27001 and NIS2 implementations, and liaising with cybersecurity authorities.

Location: On-site in Libin, Belgium. Requires daily presence and a maximum call-out time of 30 minutes when on-call.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain all required security documentation in collaboration with the Operations Director.
• Design and control access rights using badge and biometric systems across security zones.
• Implement and exercise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, including asset management and monitoring.
• Lead the implementation of ISO27001 and NIS2 and maintain accreditation files for physical and CIS environments.
• Act as Deputy to the CISO for communications and relationship management with the NSA.
• Monitor the handling of classified documents and media while participating in risk assessment activities.

Requirements

• Military or defense background with experience performing similar security tasks.
• Professional experience in security aspects of Communication Information Systems (CIS) and corporate security procedures.
• Expertise in handling classified material within national or international environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO27001 and awareness of the NIS2 directive.
• Good command of both English and French (written and spoken).
• Ability to work on-site in Libin, Belgium and agreement to undergo a Personal Security Clearance process.
