What you will do

• Own the financial control framework across savings balances, customer deposits, current accounts, and payment flows.
• Manage the month-end close for Savings & Payments, reviewing journals, interest calculations, and settlement postings.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between internal systems, payment schemes, and NetSuite.
• Oversee accounting and financial control for treasury products, including interest rate swaps and debt securities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to advise on accounting treatments and ledger mapping for new product launches.
• Support internal and external audit activities related to treasury and financial controls.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
• Qualification obtained within a Big 4 or Top 10 audit firm.
• Strong experience in banking, treasury, payments, or savings-focused fintech environments.
• Solid understanding of UK payments infrastructure (FPS, CHAPS, Direct Debits, and card schemes).
• Proven experience managing complex reconciliations and financial control processes.
• Experience partnering with technical teams (Product, Operations, Engineering).

• Treasury accounting and derivative accounting experience.
