Operational Efficiency and Automation Specialist (Power Platform/SQL): Driving digital transformation within credit operations by leveraging data analysis and automation with an accent on Alteryx migration and process optimization. Focus on decommissioning legacy workflows, implementing low-code solutions via Power Platform, and integrating Salesforce data for operational insights.

Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the Manchester office). Must have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic audit, decommissioning, and migration of legacy Alteryx workflows by 2027.
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline operational processes.
• Analyze operational data from Salesforce and core platforms to identify trends and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Create and maintain KPI reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Partner with business units to map, re-engineer, and document improved workflows to eliminate inefficiencies.
• Provide expert support and training to operational teams on the effective use of existing AI tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and Alteryx migration or auditing.
• Experience implementing workflow automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar low-code tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce object structures, reporting, and system integration.
• Proven ability to manage time-bound system transition or software decommissioning projects.
• Valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis and ETL scripting.
• Experience with Big Data environments and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or GCP.
• Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications.
• Background working within a regulated financial services environment.
