TL;DR
Lead Developer / Technical Lead (AI): Turning a mature R&D prototype into a secure, reusable production-ready product and data platform with an accent on full-stack engineering, AWS infrastructure, multi-tenant architecture, and governed AI integration. Focus on designing versioned APIs and data contracts, enforcing client isolation and security controls, and building automated testing, observability, and release standards.

What you will do
- Take ownership of an existing R&D codebase and lead its transition into a secure, maintainable production platform.
- Design and build the reusable platform core, including the API/BFF layer, operational database, tenant and event models, roles, permissions, entitlements, auditability, and usage telemetry.
- Develop across React and TypeScript front ends, Python and FastAPI services, AWS infrastructure, integrations, and automated testing.
- Define versioned APIs and data contracts between the product platform and shared data and intelligence services.
- Coordinate and provide technical oversight to the data-platform developer, including AI tools, data products, lineage, schemas, and release dependencies.
- Establish standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, security, quality gates, documentation, and release management while mentoring developers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a lead developer, technical lead, or hands-on architecture role.
- Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI.
- Production experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, secrets management, and secure identity patterns.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS, RBAC, entitlements, client isolation, auditability, security by design, versioned APIs, schemas, and data contracts.
- Ability to lead and mentor developers while remaining an active contributor and communicating with product, data, QA, security, and executive stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex, enterprise AI agents, governed AI tools, RAG, or comparable LLM platforms.
- Knowledge of Cognito, OAuth/OIDC, serverless and event-driven integrations, and AWS multi-account governance.
- Experience with data anonymization, pseudonymization, DLP, consent, retention, privacy-sensitive design, or FinOps.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, UML/PlantUML, ADR-driven architecture governance, or usage metering.
- Client-facing consulting, analytics products, event or attendee data, or product-incubation experience.
