TL;DR

People Operations & Compliance Team Lead (Deep-tech): Managing HR operations, legal compliance, and payroll systems to ensure scalable and trustworthy people foundations with an accent on labor relations and regulatory rigor. Focus on automating People Ops workflows, leading social dialogue with employee representatives, and ensuring strict adherence to French labor law.

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid - up to 40% remote)

What you will do

  • Own payroll and employee administration, ensuring data reliability and seamless execution throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead social relations and legal compliance, managing CSE meetings and monitoring French labor law.
  • Manage and develop the People Operations specialist to maintain high execution standards.
  • Oversee the HR systems architecture (HRIS, ATS) and drive automation to reduce manual workload.
  • Define and deploy Working conditions (QVCT) initiatives to support health, safety, and environment policies.
  • Produce key People Analytics reports for the Comex and People & Culture team to enable data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR management.
  • Solid knowledge of French labor law and experience managing labor relations and works councils.
  • Master's degree in Social/Labor Law or Human Resources Management.
  • Fluent French and English proficiency.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Paris.
  • Strong proficiency in HR tools and digital collaborative environments.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of international compliance issues.
  • Experience in high-growth deep-tech environments.
