What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, electrical controls, and marine equipment.
• Lead and direct regional field associates during installation and maintenance projects.
• Oversee complete engine overhauls and perform complex technical repairs.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical support to customers and internal team members.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to resolve equipment issues and implement engineering changes.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, timecards, and project reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as an FMD Field Service Technician.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline plus four years of military experience, or four years of military/industry experience.
• Solid understanding of pneumatic, PLC, and electronic engine controls.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and meet specific vision requirements.
