What you will do

• Set up and operate horizontal boring and milling machines using rotary tables, angle stands, and various machine attachments.
• Perform machining operations including boring, tapping, drilling, reaming, and milling ends.
• Machine parts to precise drawing dimensions, maintaining tolerances of ± .0005.
• Rework and repair parts as required based on technical assignments.
• Select appropriate feeds and speeds for various machining tasks.
• Handle heavy components safely using hoists and overhead cranes.

Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge in setting up and operating manual boring bars.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles.
• High school diploma; a degree from a technical school is preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Beloit, Wisconsin
