Senior Systems Engineer – Fullstack

Location: Aarhus C, Denmark; onsite role supporting security-classified projects.

What you will do

• Design and implement new features for the IRIS military messaging and interoperability platform.
• Take ownership of features from design through delivery across modern and legacy code.
• Maintain and improve legacy backend code.
• Document technical solutions and designs for the wider team.
• Mentor junior developers and review their code.
• Occasionally contribute to technical assessments during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent professional education.
• At least five years of software development experience.
• Solid proficiency in at least one object-oriented language: JavaScript, Java, C, C++, or C#.
• Experience designing software solutions and producing technical documentation.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• A clean criminal record and residence in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years are required for security clearance.
