Full Stack Developer – Java & Modern Frontend (Java)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; onsite work at the customer location may be required, including up to five days per week.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build REST APIs, system integrations, and modern frontend applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Work with relational databases and data-driven applications.
• Design, review, and test software through automated unit and integration testing.
• Support CI/CD, deployment, production operations, and troubleshooting across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, testers, development teams, and external suppliers while helping modernize systems and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• Strong professional software development experience, including Java.
• Experience with Spring, preferably Spring Boot, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, REST APIs, integrations, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software delivery workflows.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments and multi-supplier delivery settings.
• Fluent Danish, written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work onsite at the customer location in Copenhagen when required, potentially five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, messaging, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in digital healthcare, national healthcare solutions, healthcare integrations, healthcare data, or other critical systems in the Danish healthcare sector.
• Experience with complex public-sector systems.
