Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of cloud-native data ingestion and aggregation services processing gigabytes of data daily.
• Build customer-facing web features, APIs, and backend services across the product suite.
• Deliver capabilities for detecting market manipulation, fraud, and behavioural patterns.
• Scale high-performance AWS services handling thousands of requests per second.
• Lead the transition to streaming architecture and guide the graphing platform used to visualise blockchain and off-chain insights.
• Resolve complex production issues and mentor engineers across the team.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native, service-based systems on AWS, GCP, or another major cloud provider.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming; Java and TypeScript are used most frequently.
• Extensive experience with complex backend and/or frontend systems, including senior or lead engineering responsibilities.
• Experience making technical decisions, leading cross-team projects, and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers and designers while taking product ideas from inception through production.
• Experience integrating AI into customer-facing products or engineering infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven systems.
• Interest in cryptocurrency technology.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
