What you will do

• Design and develop observability solutions for Pega Cloud-hosted applications.
• Build and operate microservices monitoring, enabling metric collection, logging, and APM tracing.
• Apply OpenTelemetry standards for distributed tracing and open metrics.
• Define and manage KPIs, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for microservices.
• Correlate metrics, error codes, and logs across load balancers, backend services (Tomcat, Java), and databases.
• Automate observability processes and partner with Cloud Engineering to improve system availability and performance.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience managing observability alerts and dashboards.
• Experience managing Helm templates and Docker configurations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and basic command-line operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• AWS certifications (Practitioner or Associate).
• Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
