Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland (at least one day at the office)

Salary: 197,600 - 295,400 PLN annually

What you will do

• Own database reliability, automation, and performance for the growing cloud platform.
• Manage alerts, incidents, and customer escalations within established SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems to resolve complex environment issues.
• Migrate on-premise clients to Pega Cloud using AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS).
• Collaborate with product teams to improve service scalability, observability, and performance.
• Develop automation tools and maintain operational runbooks to reduce toil.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining mission-critical production database systems in a global enterprise.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise-scale Linux Administration.
• 2+ years of hands-on operational experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL server architecture, RDS internals, and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch).
• Location: Must be based in Poland and able to work hybridly from the Krakow office.

Nice to have

• Exposure to other public clouds such as GCP or Azure.
• DBA certification in Postgres, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• AWS Certification.
• Prior experience with Pega software.
