TL;DR

Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure): Designing and managing DevOps pipelines across PaaS-based Azure environments with an accent on security-by-design and infrastructure automation. Focus on building secure CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud resource provisioning via IaC, and providing high-level technical support for live services.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the UK)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

What you will do

  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain the Azure platform to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide 3rd line support and break-fix resolution for live Azure services to minimize downtime.
  • Design and build automated CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software releases.
  • Provision and manage Azure cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM).
  • Implement security best practices and align infrastructure with compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, NCSC).
  • Configure real-time monitoring and alerting to maintain system health and application performance.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK; roles can only be performed within the UK.
  • Cannot sponsor work visas.
  • Extensive experience in Azure DevOps managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking and zero trust methodologies.
  • Experience provisioning cloud resources with Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in developing with JavaScript and C#.
