What you will do

• Operate and evolve the EKS-based Kubernetes platform and support service migrations.
• Design and develop CI/CD systems for websites, services, and desktop release workflows.
• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Pulumi or Terraform/OpenTofu across AWS.
• Manage the observability stack including VictoriaMetrics, VictoriaLogs, and Grafana.
• Diagnose production incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.
• Apply security-conscious practices including IAM, secrets management, and network segmentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes experience in cluster management and troubleshooting.
• Permanent work authorization for the UK is mandatory.
• Consistent overlap with Pacific Time zone working hours is required.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
• Strong security awareness regarding identity, secrets hygiene, and network controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux).
• Familiarity with identity platforms like Keycloak (OIDC, SAML).
• Knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP).
• Experience working within an open-source community.
• Proficiency in French, German, or Japanese.
